50’s, ideal weather. Here is the initial view of the park. Too cold for the natives, so I pretty much had the place to myself. No complaints!
If there’s a designated trail that goes up there, leave a comment about how to access it. I’ve hiked here dozens of times and haven’t seen one.
A little further up the trail, but before the small bridge toward the M.A.S.H. site. There used to just be a fallen tree to walk across, but within the last year they finally built an actual bridge. On the plus side it’s much easier to cross the creek. On the downside more people can access the other half of the park.
Not doing the Bulldog loop today, but this would be the way to get started. Total loop is 14-15 miles, passes through Corral Canyon around the halfway point then descends onto Las Virgenes.
